Maka is a queer, disabled, Latinx creative access practitioner working with d/Deaf, neurodivergent, and disabled artists to create inclusive, meaningful work. Through Access All Areas, Maka supports the Take Part Programme, helping participants grow creatively and gain confidence.

They’ve collaborated with UK organizations like Drunken Chorus and Unlimited, and currently work as the Access and Wellbeing Officer at Oily Cart, focusing on sensory theatre. Internationally, Maka engages with Paisaje Público and the CircoStrada Network, championing disability leadership in contemporary circus and public spaces.

With an MA in Applied Theatre, Maka is also a certified Mental Health First Aider, amateur photographer, and cat lover. They bring a dedicated, creative approach to access and wellbeing in all their work.
