Mairi Hayes

Mairi is a Head of Short Course Programmes at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama.
She is an arts professional with over 16 years’ experience. She has experience in acting, directing, making performances, teaching, and managing courses & projects. At Central she manages the youth theatre, evening courses, summer course, diploma course and the artist development programmes.
Mairi’s originally trained and worked extensively as an actor with companies including the BBC, ITV, West Yorkshire Playhouse, and The Southbank Centre. She holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Hight Education and is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Mairi works with Access All Areas’ on the Performance Making Diploma.
