Inside Binchy’s head is […] utterly fascinating and wildly creative […] Definitely and defiantly different.
– Lyn Gardner for The Guardian

Cian has autism.

He likes to spin tin-openers.

He’s taught lots of famous actors how to be autistic. They’re very good at it.

Using multi-media performance, Cian takes us through a world of wheelchairs and blow-up dolls; emojis and gardening, in an unconventional exploration of an autistic mind that playfully questions the treatment of disability and autism in today’s world.

This is not Rain Man.

Before staging his one man show The Misfit Analysis Cian Binchy was on our TV screens on BBC and ITV.

After sell-out runs in London and Edinburgh (2015), the multi-award winning The Misfit Analysis returned as part of an national tour in 2016.

In 2017 Cian presented Misfit Centre Stage – A symposium on Autism and the Performing Arts, an afternoon of creative workshops and presentations exploring autism and the performing arts.
