
Selena Kelly
Selena is a writer/director who trained at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She has directed large-scale ensemble pieces, intimate productions, community theatre, youth theatre. She has written plays for adults and children. Selena also works as a Drama Facilitator at Sylvia Young Theatre School.
Directing/writing credits include:
Writing/directing 11 short films for the NHS, A Little Bit of Glitter in the Grey, Rose Bruford University, Bigot, Camden People’s Theatre; Home and Refuge (director/writer) for GSA; The Bower Wall (Druid, Galway); Betrayal (Trident Theatre, Galway); In High Germany, (Lion and Unicorn); More Light and Taking Breath Galway Arts Festival.
Selena is a Creative Enabler for Access All Areas Theatre, appearing as a performer/Creative Enabler in UnReal City.
She also provided coaching and creative support to learning-disabled artists on Jitney (Leeds Playhouse) and The Darkest Part of the Night (Kiln Theatre)
Selena has also collaborated on a sensory show for children at Royal Albert Hall.
